A mental health tracker can help you track the symptoms associated with your mental health condition, and keep track of any interventions you are trying to better manage the condition.
A mental health tracker can be especially helpful if you are living with symptoms of depression, anxiety, or low moods, to better understand yourself and how your environment and lifestyle impact your symptoms. A common practice in cognitive behavior therapy is labelling emotions and moods to understand and process them, and a mental health tracker can help you do just that.

“I have never taken a questionnaire like the symptoms survey in Human Health, and i wish it would be available in more clinics and counselling centers. It truly made me feel seen and heard, and that i am not alone.”

No. While it is particularly helpful for people living with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, or other conditions, anyone can use it to understand their emotional health better. Some people start tracking while they wait for an assessment, so they can bring a detailed record of symptoms to a first appointment. Others use it simply to spot patterns in how their mood shifts with sleep, stress, or daily routines.
You select the symptoms or moods that are most relevant to you, either from the app’s suggestions or from your own choices. Each one can be rated on a simple scale that shows how much it impacts your daily functioning. You can also add notes about what was happening at the time, such as “low mood after poor sleep” or “anxious before presentation.” Over time, these logs create charts that highlight changes and trends.
Therapists often ask about patterns in mood or symptoms, but it can be hard to recall exactly how you felt across a month. With the tracker, you can bring a PDF summary to sessions. Instead of saying “I’ve been low a lot,” you can show that your low moods were strongest on 10 days, often linked with poor sleep. This saves time in sessions and helps your provider tailor support to your real experiences.
That’s okay. Even if you miss days, the logs you do have still give valuable perspective. Many people find that reminders help them stay consistent, but the tracker is flexible - you can return to it when you are ready. The goal is to build a helpful record, not a perfect one.
Your data is fully encrypted and securely stored. Human Health is both GDPR and HIPAA compliant, which means your information is protected to medical grade standards. Your logs are never sold, and you control if or when to share them. You can delete your data or account at any time.
